FAQ

FAQ

What kind of businesses do you work with?

I work with service-based founders and entrepreneurs — people who are building or running a business and want strategic support, clarity, and accountability. My clients are typically solo founders, or manage a small team.  They are located across the UK, North America, and beyond.

Some of my clients are just getting started, others are established and looking to grow or work smarter. What they have in common is that they’re serious about their business and ready to do the work.

What is your coaching style?

Direct, practical, and grounded in real experience. I don’t do fluffy affirmations or generic advice.

I ask the right questions, tell you what I actually think, and help you get clear on what to do next.

While I bring a strategic lens and data-based approach to everything we look at, I also consider what is right for you. Because what looks good on paper may not be a fit for your lifestyle, goals, or skills.

I work with all the pieces of your business – your mindset, your systems, your marketing, and  your decision-making.

Sessions are focused and structured — we get into the real stuff quickly.

Is this coaching, consulting, or mentoring?

Honestly, it’s all three. With some accountability and project planning thrown in.

I use coaching tools to help you find clarity and make better decisions.

I bring consulting experience when you need strategic analysis, a plan, or a direct recommendation.

And I mentor from my 20+ years of lived experience as a successful founder and franchisor.

Most sessions move between all three depending on what you bring to the call. The focus is always on meeting you where you are, and moving you towards your goals.

What's the difference between a Focus Session and ongoing coaching?

A Focus Session is a single 60-minute intensive — ideal when you have a specific decision to make, a project that’s stalled, or a situation you need a fresh perspective on. It’s a one-off, no ongoing commitment.

Ongoing coaching is a minimum three-month retainer where we work together regularly — weekly, biweekly, or monthly. This is where the deeper work happens: building momentum, establishing systems, staying accountable, and having consistent strategic support as your business evolves.

How does it work?

For a Focus Session — book your session via the website, complete a short intake form, receive your invoice, and pay before our call. We meet on Zoom, and you receive a written summary and session recording afterward.

For ongoing coaching — we start with a free 30-minute intro call to make sure it’s a good fit. If we decide to work together, you sign a coaching agreement and receive your first invoice. Sessions are booked in advance and held on Zoom.

How do I know if we're a good fit?

Book a free intro call and we’ll figure it out together. I’ll ask you about where you are and what you’re trying to build, and I’ll be honest with you about whether I think I can help. If it’s not a fit, I’ll tell you — and I might be able to point you in a better direction.

Is what we discuss confidential?

Everything we discuss is completely confidential. I do not share client information, business details, or anything discussed in our sessions with any third party. This includes your team, your competitors, and anyone else. What happens in our sessions stays between us.

Do you sign an NDA?

Confidentiality is built into the coaching agreement that all clients sign before we begin working together. It covers the protection of your IP, business information, personal details, and anything disclosed during our sessions. If you require a separate NDA for specific reasons, we can discuss that on your intro call.

How long does it take to see results?

It depends on what you’re working on and how ready you are to act on what comes up in our sessions. Most clients notice a shift in clarity and focus within the first session. Deeper changes — in confidence, systems, momentum — tend to develop over the course of a three-month engagement. I’m not going to promise you a specific outcome, but I will tell you that clients who show up prepared and do the work between sessions see the most progress.

Do you work with clients outside the UK?

Yes. All sessions are online via Zoom so location doesn’t matter. I work with clients across the UK, North America, Europe, and beyond. Invoicing is available in GBP or USD depending on your location.

What are the payment options?

UK clients pay by bank transfer in GBP. Clients outside the UK pay in USD via Stripe or PayPal. Payment for Focus Sessions is due the day before our call. Retainer invoices are sent on your start date and on the same date each month thereafter.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes, to protect both of us. For Focus Sessions, you agree to the terms at the point of booking. For ongoing coaching packages, a full coaching agreement is sent for signature before your first session. It covers confidentiality, session recording consent, cancellation policy, payment terms, and the nature of our working relationship. I’ll always send it in advance so you have time to read it and ask any questions before signing.

How do I get started?

The easiest way is to book a free 30-minute intro call. We’ll talk about where you are, what you’re trying to build, and whether working together makes sense. No pitch, no pressure — just an honest conversation.

If you already know you want a Focus Session, you can book and pay directly through the website.

Either way, the first step is simple. Book a free intro call.
